What is the Accu-Trac System?
The Accu-Trac system is a series of electronic golf
training aids that uses a combination of high intensity light, a light reactive mat,
and state of the art electronics to assist you in developing an accurate and
consistent putting stroke.
What is the purpose of the Accu-Trac System?
The Accu-Trac system is used to assist you in the proper
development of your muscle memory so that you can putt more accurately and
consistently than ever before.
How does the Accu-Trac System accomplish its purpose?
The Accu-Trac System provides a graduated method to
assist you in developing accurate and consistent progress in the 4-steps of the
putting process.
What are the 4-steps of the putting process?
The putting stroke has often been described as
comprised of four parts.
- The take back and follow through path
- The square putter face angle at the point of contact
with the ball
- The speed at point of ball contact necessary for the
proper distance on a level green
- Adjustments to direction and speed based on the
terrain
How does the Accu-Trac System provide help on each of
the 4-steps of the putting process?
The Accu-Trac System provides the following
capabilities:
- Utilization of a high intensity light with a light
sensitive mat to develop proper muscle memory in the take back and follow through
path step.
- Electronic monitoring of the putter head position at
the point of contact to assist in developing the proper putter face angle at the
point of contact.
- Electronic monitoring of the putter velocity at the
point of contact, and automatically calculating the distance traveled over a known
green (stimp rating of 10).
- Electronic simulation of various terrain conditions
to assist you in developing consistency in adjusting to the varying conditions.
Why does the Accu-Trac system allow for each step to be
practiced individually as well as combined into a completely integrated process?
Developing the complex muscle memory necessary to
coordinate the 4-steps of the putting process can be a daunting task when attempted
all at once. The Accu-Trac System allows each of the 4 steps to be practiced and
perfected independently. This makes the development of skill in each step a truly
enjoyable process. The Accu-Trac System then provides a method of integrating these
steps together into a smooth and consistent putting stroke.
How can you use it to improve your putting?
By correctly using the Accu-Trac System for a few
minutes a day, you will naturally begin to develop a more accurate and consistent
Trac path, better face angle at the point of contact, a better feel for the proper
stoke speed, and the ability to adjust your stroke for varying terrain conditions. In
other words, a more accurate and consistent putting stroke that leads to a reduction
on your overall average.
